Alas, not all projects come out the way they are designed. This one had a contractor who was not particularly good at following plans and we were not hired to do Construction Administration on behalf of the client. The contractor poured the foundation in the wrong place so we had to redesign on the fly. Still a useful addition for the client but missing some of the charm of the design.
