This project has been many years in the making and unfortunately continues it’s bureaucratic limbo. This version of the design, completed in 2016 while working for Converse Winkler Architects in Bala Cynwyd, PA, brings a classic Regional Rail station aesthetic to the neighborhood and attaches a modern parking garage with retail store space for regional transportation needs. This was a response to the previous incarnation which attempted to incorporate a retail hub and even housing and a hotel into the transportation hub. Where it will land and when it will be constructed is unknown. Meanwhile, the temporary station in it’s place enters it’s 70’s…
